Our Signature Wine is produced from some of the oldest vines on the North Fork (circa 1982). Showing a soft straw color this Pinot Blanc exhibits great varietal character. Initial scents of nectarine, pear, and citrus fruits give way to hints of honey and chalk. On the palate this medium-bodied, bold Pinot Blanc is refreshingly crisp with a clean, lingering finish. With a great balance of bright fruit and vibrant acidity this mouth-watering wine is a perfect match for sushi, oysters, and other fresh local seafood.

Tank fermented and finished in French oak for 6 months, this Chardonnay opens with subtle aromas of pear and baked apple that quickly develop into lush nutty lees characters. The palate is rich and creamy with mouth filling butterscotch and almond notes. Undertones of caramel and coconut linger creating a velvety impression with a long, round finish. A great wine for autumn as an ideal compliment to your Thanksgiving table. Also pair with poultry, corn on the cob, lobster, or dishes featuring heavy cream sauces.

As Cabernet Franc gains recognition as a varietal ideally suited for the North Fork wine region of Long Island, we have just released our third vintage of this wine. Blended with a touch of Merlot and Petit Verdot and aged 10 months in French oak, our Cab Franc displays classic aromas of cherry, plum, violets, and pomegranate, supported by spiced earthiness, black pepper, and forest floor. Soft tannins and mid-palate mouth-watering fruit make for an ideal summer red that also pairs well with duck or other game birds, blackened or on the grill.

We’ve been producing our elegant reserve Merlot since 1997. The 2003 vintage continues our style with first press juice and 15 months of barrel age in French oak. Hints of tobacco, cedar, and spice are followed by undertones of dark fruits. The mid-palate is ripe and creamy, and the finish has lingering dark currant flavors and tannins that will soften with age. Try this wine with soft bloomy-rind cheeses such as brie, or with beef or lamb dishes.

Our Bridge Lane Merlot is a soft, medium-bodied wine, a bit less complex and more fruit focused than our Reserve Merlot. It is blended with a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon and has been aged in French oak for 8 months. Using the French Methode Champenoise, our sparkling wine is made from 100% Pinot Blanc grapes and ages 3 years before being disgorged in small lots to guarantee a crisp, fresh wine. A repeat winner at the prestigious LA International Wine Competition, and named as a top American Sparkling Wine by Wine Spectator, our Blanc de Blancs is perhaps one of our greatest achievements. This brut sparkler boasts a nose redolent of green apple and pear, accented by hints of citrus, honey, and yeast. Our most exclusive wine is a Bordeaux style blend of 66% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, 9% Cab Sauvignon, and 8% Cab Franc. Only made from the best harvests, using ultra low-yield farming techniques (one grape cluster per shoot) this wine is designed for maximum age potential. The bouquet of raspberry, cranberry, and dark cherry aromas, intermingles with hints of cocoa, cedar, and smoke. This is a big wine, aged to exhibit concentration of lush fruit, hints of earth, and a smooth, complex finish. Savor with filet mignon, beef Wellington, or rack of lamb.

Syrah is one of our favorite grapes and was also the name of our
vineyard mascot, who we recently lost to kidney disease. This Syrah
wine has been created in his memory. 20% of the proceeds from sales of

Our 2005 Syrah is a blend of 76% Syrah and 24% Merlot. This is a cool climate Syrah without the jammy fruit found in many warm climate Syrah/Shiraz. Instead it is a medium bodied with balanced acidity, showing black fruit and spiced earth. Well-integrated oak aging produces hints of clove and soft tannins, while the addition of Merlot rounds out the mouthfeel.
