Lieb Cellars produces two wine product lines: a "Reserve" line of cellar-worthy, award-winning wines, and a "Bridge Lane" line of highly acclaimed, great value wines. In addition, we have small amounts of "Rare and Specialty WInes, which include limited production wines and special project wines that are only available online and at the winery.
THE BRIDGE LANE WINES
Our ‘Bridge Lane’ wines are named after the road on the eastern border of our vineyards. Bridge Lane wines offer New World style, with fresh, bright fruit and approachable flavors. These wines are great for entertaining, can be enjoyed young, and pair well with food.
BRIDGE LANE ROSE

Our 2007 Rosé is made from 75% Cabernet Franc and 25% Merlot grapes. This wine is once again made in the French style, meaning it is crisp and dry, containing no residual sugar. With a dark cranberry color, this wine has big flavors of bing cherry, rhubarb, and black currant. BRIDGE LANE CHARDONNAY

This wine has been fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks to retain the purity of the Chardonnay character. The style emphasizes bright aromas of stone fruit and green apple along with some tropical notes. Crisp, clean flavors delight the palate leaving a fresh finish and a lingering minerality with a subtle earthy edge. This wine is extremely versatile, and with its light body and liveliness on the palate, it can be served as an aperitif or with any light fare.

Pronounced aromas of ripe cherry and white pepper begin to define our highly anticipated 2007 vintage of Bridge Lane Cabernet Franc. Underlying layers of raspberry, violets, and herbal undertones make for a more complex wine. On the palate, fine fruit tannins contribute to the wine’s exceptional length and great mouthfeel. The soft finish lingers with flavors of rhubarb and baking spices. Remarkably, in its youth, this wine already shines with bold fruit and smooth flavors. This first red from the 2007 vintage truly does not disappoint. Only 300 cases produced - limit 6 per customer.
BRIDGE LANE MERLOT
2005 Vintage — 800 CASES

A Bordeaux style blend of 88% Merlot, 7% Cab Sauvignon, 3% Cab Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot make our second label Merlot quite an interesting wine. Aged 10 months in 15% new French oak barrels, this wine is one of the biggest Bridge Lane wines we have ever produced. A deep purple color and dark fruit aromas of plum, blueberry, and blackberry entice the nose. A rich mid-palate is complimented by a finish of integrated tannins and balanced acidity. This is still a great every-day red that will pair with everything from grilled meats to pizza or pasta.

RESERVE PINOT BLANC

Our Signature Wine is produced from some of the oldest vines on the North Fork (circa 1982). The 2007 vintage of Pinot Blanc was quite extraordinary, considered by many to be the greatest growing season on the North Fork. This wine is created in a true Alsacian style, with aromas of honey, pear, and rose petal. The palate is big and creamy with great balance and a long finish of fruit, flora, and minerals converging together in a subtle, yet, stylized synchronicity. This mouth-watering wine is a perfect match for sushi, oysters, and other fresh local seafood.
RESERVE CHARDONNAY

A blend of both tank-fermented and barrel-fermented fruit, this Chardonnay opens with subtle aromas of pear and baked apple that develop into lush, nutty lees characters. The palate is rich and creamy with mouth filling marzipan and almond notes. Undertones of tropical fruit and vanilla linger creating a velvety impression with a long, round finish.
RESERVE CABERNET FRANC

The 2006 Reserve Cabernet Franc opens with unique floral aromatics of lavender and rose petal. Herbs and spices take a backseat to fruit forward notes of red raspberry, red currents, and red cherry. Subtle spearmint adds a fresh twist. The palate has nice structure with lively acidity up front and fruit tannins suppling the mid-palate. These bolder flavors slowly dissolve into a soft, integrated finish of sweet red fruits.
RESERVE MERLOT
2004 Vintage — 850 Cases

We’ve been producing our elegant reserve Merlot since 1997. Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, our 2004 Merlot shows a deep garnet color with hints of purple. An enticing nose of mulberry, pine and cocoa powder is followed by refined notes of sweet fruits. The palate is rich with plum, black cherry and cedar. A smooth and supple mouthfeel is made complete with soft, round tannins. While delicious to drink now, it should age well for many years.
